If it's ALL about the tailgate,
then the Miami contingent of Protail had only one REAL challenge
... to outdo their brothers and sisters (because true tailgaters
are all of one family ... CRAZY) of the Tampa contingent.

Dan Branch, { whiskeypete@professionaltailgaters.com }, the president of Protail, set out to create
a tailgate like none other. The stakes were high: A second plaque
with the coveted Jack Daniels "Fork and Spatula" emblem.
His work was cut out for him. What could he do that would catch
the eyes of the Jack Daniels judges. "I know" ... he
said in a moment of serendipity ... Let's do something that has
to do with ALCOHOL! And better yet ... JACK DANIELS!
It was, some said, INSPIRATIONAL. After consuming large quantities,
ideas began to flash in front of him (as did his entire life).
Picking himself off the floor, (with considerable help), he said
... Let's use an AIRPLANE ... Let's Build a Distillery ... Let's
have games ... Let's have a hot tub ... Let's GIVE 'em the bird
... (meaning a menu based on birds and Jack Daniels since the
Dolphins were playing the Ravens that day) ... Let's have Music
...

W A S T E D!!!
You could almost feel the same inspiration that spawned the famouns
phrase in Animal House ... "Toga, Toga, Toga". |
Arriving in Style, Dan and Team piled into the "Dolphin
Mobile"
for the ride to ProPlayer Stadium.
And ... The Rest is H
I S T O R Y!
Did they Dominate
the Tailgate Competition?
YES!!!
Did they Win the Award?
YES!!!
Did they drink more than
ANYONE else???
YES!!!
Were They Sick For A Week?
YES!!!
BUT ... as you
already know ...
It's ALL ABOUT THE TAILGATE!!!
When the local
TV stations asked for a statement, Protail founder Dan Branch,
screemed unintelligably at the cameraman,
until the entire TV crew was laughing so hard
they couldn't hold the camera still, and left.
Branch was heard to say ... "Who Were They?" |
